Privacy policy

Last updated 19 October 2026

Draft for legal review. This text is a placeholder and is not yet the agreement that applies to your use of Velkri.

This policy explains what personal data Velkri collects when you use our website and our product, why we collect it, and the choices you have. [Company legal name and registered address, for review.]

Who is responsible

For this website and for accounts you create directly, Velkri is the controller of your personal data. For content your organisation puts into its workspace, your organisation is the controller and Velkri processes that content on its behalf under our agreement with them.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, work email, and the workspace you belong to.
  • Workspace content: messages, calls and their transcripts, files, tasks and docs that your team creates or connects.
  • Usage data: which features are used and how much AI processing a workspace consumes, so we can meter plans and keep the service reliable.
  • Website analytics: if enabled, privacy-friendly page counts without cookies or personal identifiers.

How we use it

We use your data to provide Velkri, to secure it, to support you and to bill your organisation. We do not sell personal data, and we do not train AI models on your workspace content.

Direct messages

Direct messages are visible only to the people in the conversation. They are not indexed, searched by Velkri or used to build project memory.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Velkri, such as hosting, email delivery and AI model providers. They process data only on our instructions. [List of subprocessors, for review.]

How long we keep it

Workspace content is kept for as long as your organisation keeps it in Velkri. [Retention periods after an account or workspace is closed, for review.]

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within the time the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell workspace admins before the change takes effect.
